Become a certified Reiki healer
(Usui Reiki)
Reiki is a spiritual healing art with roots in Japan. The word Rei-ki is a combination of the Japanese word ‘Rei’, which means ‘Universal life force’, and ‘Ki’, which means ‘Energy’. This particular Reiki form was founded by Mike Usui, whose personal search to understand healing led him to Reiki.
Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief og suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work using spiritually guided life force energy channeled through the hands of a medium, the Reiki healer.
Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki practitioners understand that everyone has this ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others.
A person’s ‘Ki’ or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is so, a person’s body and mind are in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked, it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Why do we offer Reiki?
In Jordens Sang we believe that all are healers by nature. We all carry the talent of chanelling, but we may not all have practiced the skills to start using it.
We believe everybody can learn to direct the healing energy to areas that are painful or ill in order to re-establish balance and harmony.
Reiki is a technique, which everybody can learn and master.
What we need most in order to activate this healing art is the careful guidance of great teachers – those who have traveled the journey of Reiki themselves and practiced the art to the level of mastery. One such teacher is Betty Fourage.
Level 1: Physical level
You will learn about the history of Reiki and get all the tools needed to perform self-healing as well as work with your energy flow.
You are introduced to the chakras and energy work and you are attuned to the first symbol of activation. At this level we are healing at the physical level.
Level 2: Mental/emotional level
This level is about practicing on others while elevating to a higher frequency with the introduction of symbols. At this level we are healing at the emotional and mental level.
Already after level 2 you can start practicing on others and make your own sessions with clients. The training will give you the tools to channel and activate energy flows so you can help clients at a professional level. You will also learn how to structure the sessions, how to guide your client and how to open the channel of Reiki.
Level 3: Master - Soul level
Reiki becomes ‘what you are’ instead of ‘what you do’ at this level. It is about knowing yourself as a channel and it is opening the door to the healing of the soul.
Practicing Reiki after level 3 becomes natural and intuitive. At this level you become a Reiki Master and here we are healing at the soul level.
Level 4: Teachers’ level
This level will be your natural choice when Reiki has become an integral part of your life and you feel complete mastery of the energy flow. Then you may know that the time has come for you to pass on the wisdom and the skills to others who wish to learn.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The training in March is an immersive – all inclusive – retreat in Rødegaard. For five days (four nights) the participants will learn together and become initiated and certified in the levels 1 and 2. The fifth day is a day of practice, supervision and q&a with Betty. Later in March you can complete the Master level (level 3) if you have completed levels 1 and 2.
The teaching is in English and it is for everyone – whether you already work professionally as a healer or therapist or you are new to the healing arts.
We are making it exclusive for a limited number of participants so that everyone will be guided and initiated properly. So please secure your spot well in advance if you know that this training is calling you.
(Please observe: For persons who are working to become RAB-certified, this Reiki training (levels 1-3) may count as ‘other alternative therapy training’ and count for 50 hours.)

PRACTICALITIES
All meals are vegetarian and mainly organic and glutenfree. We practice waste sorting and communal living.

BETTY FOURAGE
Betty Fourage is a Reiki Master (Usui) and Hypnotherapist, originally from France, but she lived many years in Spain and India. She os currently residing in Valencia where she teaches and practices Reiki. She literally breathes Reiki and she lives to pass on her art to those who are ready to learn. She teaches with great wisdom and clarity.
